About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Albany, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site protocols.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity.
- Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
