As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier tennis and events location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control points, assist guests and staff with clear communication, and document observations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the venue, including entrances, concourses, seating areas, administrative spaces, and exterior perimeters.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, unattended items, and policy violations, and help to deter prohibited behavior through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
  • Support access control by checking credentials, directing foot traffic, and assisting with bag check and screening processes as assigned by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disorderly conduct, and lost and found issues, and request additional resources when needed.
  • Document and report incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns using required reporting tools and written logs, and communicate updates to site leadership.
  • Assist with crowd management during peak arrival and departure times, including line management, queue control, and providing directions to event areas and amenities.
  • Operate and/or monitor security-related systems and equipment as assigned, such as radios, visitor management tools, and camera systems where available.
  • Perform perimeter checks of gates, doors, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or misuse of venue spaces.
  • Coordinate with local first responders, venue operations, and Allied Universal leadership during incidents, following site procedures and chain of command.
