Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining detailed and accurate records as required by Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries or directions while maintaining a presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established procedures for the location.
• Remain alert to surroundings while on patrol, and promptly address any security-related concerns or hazards identified during shifts.
