Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Patrol Full-Time in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report hazards and/or suspicious activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points as permitted by site policy.
Complete access control tasks such as verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining professional entry screening procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report abnormal conditions according to site procedures.
Perform truck gate and/or dock checks as assigned, including confirming delivery and pickup documentation, directing drivers to staging areas, and reporting discrepancies to management.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and electronic logs, including taking statements when needed and submitting required notifications.
Support loss prevention and operational awareness by observing for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and/or policy violations, then reporting findings through the proper chain of command.
Assist with emergency preparedness tasks such as participating in drills, supporting evacuation and/or shelter-in-place activities, and accounting for personnel as directed.
Maintain a professional presence and appearance, communicate clearly with team members and client personnel, and follow all post orders, including any food plant hygiene and restricted-area requirements.
