About The Position
As a Security Officer - Clinic Unarmed Full-Time Patrol in Westlake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements
- Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior corridors, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting hazards, and/or coordinating with site leadership and local responders as directed by post orders.
- Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations; verify credentials and/or visitor access as required by site procedures.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and/or shift handoff notes, and communicate observations promptly through approved channels.
