Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Evening Patrol Driver in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points as needed. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover designated areas and respond to calls for assistance. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report security-related and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and key events, and communicate information to supervisors and site contacts.
