As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Security guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the educational location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
Collaborate with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations and incident response.
Document incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and accurately as required by site and company policies.
