About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Rounds in Ashville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a high-tech location where your presence and professionalism help to deter security-related incidents. You will perform routine foot and vehicle patrols, respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering a fast-moving environment where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity matter.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verify authorization, and report concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel, and follow direction for documentation and notifications.
