As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and loading dock activity; verify identification and/or authorization as required and document deliveries, pickups, and key movements per site procedure.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and shift activity; maintain clear logs and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and available information.
