About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed CRE Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Document and report any incidents, security-related issues, or unusual circumstances according to site protocols.
Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters as needed.
