As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with tenants and visitors, uphold our values of teamwork and integrity, and contribute to a secure and welcoming environment through your reliable presence and communication skills.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure atmosphere for tenants, visitors, and staff.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence.
Document observations and incidents in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal protocols.
