Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Driver Patrol in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and respond to access control requests, alarms, and/or service calls, escalating issues to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions, documenting actions taken, and assisting with scene control until relieved.
- Complete routine activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or property management.
