Join Allied Universal on an unarmed patrol post supporting an aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver a customer focused presence. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and/or visitor processing requirements at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor and respond to alarms, calls for service, and unusual conditions; take action consistent with post orders and request assistance from appropriate personnel as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and/or Allied Universal.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
