As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to students, faculty, and visitors. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries within the educational environment.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a welcoming and secure atmosphere.
Document security-related incidents and daily activities according to company and site requirements.
