Security Officer - Unarmed Building Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Building Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond promptly to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A valid guard card or security license is preferred, as issued by the state, county, or city.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and guests at the commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on site.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
