Requirements

A guard card or security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Remain alert to any potential security-related risks within the commercial real estate environment and take appropriate steps to support a secure environment.
