Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Building Patrol in Owings Mills, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, delivering outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and tenants. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and report maintenance or security-related issues in the location.
