As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support guests and staff with clear communication, access guidance, and customer service. Requirements

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a financial institution location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, check doors and restricted areas, and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, de-escalating when appropriate and requesting assistance from management and/or public responders as needed.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and patrol activity using required logs and reporting systems, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
