About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Rover in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet associates and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, irregularities, and incidents, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
- Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and assisting with orderly movement of employees, customers, and vendors.
