Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, post orders, and other security-related policies at a government aviation location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
  • Monitor points of entry, restricted areas, and controlled doors; check identification and/or credentials when required; and report access issues according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, crowd direction, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency partners.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document observed conditions and incidents, and communicate timely updates to site leadership using approved communication channels.
