As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or possess an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to company protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and directions as required by site policies.
Support Allied Universal and client management with incident reporting and documentation.
Remain alert and observant while on patrol to identify and address potential security-related concerns specific to the aerospace and defense environment.
