Job Description As a Security Officer TWIC Verification Driver in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location in an access control post where you help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs while staying visible and professional. You will communicate clearly with site teams and guests, use established procedures to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, access control procedures, and site-specific policies at an industrial location.
  • Manage entry and exit through gates and/or lobbies by checking credentials, verifying authorization, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access logs.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems; communicate unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership per procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, loading areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
