About The Position

As a Security Officer - TWIC Site Patrol in Cantonment, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe for unusual activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial chemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, loading and staging areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries and drivers to designated check-in points per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, coordinating notifications, and documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Monitor and report alarms, cameras, and/or communications systems as assigned, complete shift reports and incident reports, and promptly escalate maintenance issues or policy concerns to site leadership.
