Job Description As a Security Officer - TWIC Patrol in Alvin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and reporting expectations at an industrial chemical processing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and communications per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions for reporting. Control entry and exit of vehicles and individuals, verify credentials, and manage visitor logs, keys, and/or badges in accordance with site policies. Complete detailed documentation such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover. Minimum Requirements: Possess a TSA issued TWIC. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
