As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service through strong communication. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening processes and security-related activities.
Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting visitors and employees during entry and exit procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner as they arise at the location.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns observed during screening.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
