About The Position

As a Security Officer TWIC Driver Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Help to deter unauthorized access by observing restricted areas, screening persons and/or vehicles as assigned, and reporting security-related concerns promptly.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gates, and perimeter areas as assigned, noting site conditions and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues.
