You will greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, manage entry logs, and help maintain orderly traffic at gates and checkpoints. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with drivers, employees, and leadership, and complete routine rounds of nearby areas to help identify concerns early. Requirements
- Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies while controlling access at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain visitor and delivery logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, service areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
