As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen people and property, and conduct routine patrols while staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

• Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries using approved screening methods and equipment, such as walk-through screening, hand wanding, and visual inspections, following site procedures.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow for pedestrians and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through the required communication channels.
• Complete required logs, screening records, and incident reports in a timely manner, and communicate shift activity to onsite leadership and/or the next shift.
