Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for all personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Monitor closed-circuit television and alarm systems to identify irregular or unusual activity within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Respond to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by clearly communicating site-specific policies and responding to inquiries and concerns.
Support emergency response activities as directed and assist with evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures when necessary.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.
