As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail distribution areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution property and its perimeter, observing and reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Communicate professionally with management, employees, and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergency response activities.
