As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, manage access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment.   • Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors as per site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, contractors, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and reporting all incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal contacts and/or client representatives.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report any findings.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site policies.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure working environment and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
