About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Rounds in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences during patrols.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required.
Remain alert to potential security-related concerns and report observations according to established procedures.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
