As a Security Officer - Field Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist riders and staff with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to supervisors and/or public agency partners as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unsecured areas during patrols, document observations, and report maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintain professionalism, and support crowd management and/or queuing during peak transit periods.
