Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client procedures.
• Collaborate with local staff and law enforcement when required to address security-related concerns.
• Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management as necessary within the transportation environment.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on duty to help to deter potential threats or hazards.
