Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client procedures.
Collaborate with local staff and law enforcement when required to address security-related concerns.
Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management as necessary within the transportation environment.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on duty to help to deter potential threats or hazards.
