Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and/or electronic systems as directed by site procedures.
Support Allied Universal and client leadership in upholding site-specific requirements and maintaining a secure environment in the transportation location.
