As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to support a secure atmosphere, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance, while upholding the security-related standards of the location.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure environment.
  • Follow all instructions and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and site management.
