As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining visible to help deter potential security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and local authorities as required.
Complete detailed and accurate written reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the government facility.
