About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrols in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious behavior, to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions or information as required.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when necessary.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
