Security Officer -Training Center
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Community Center Patrol in Westlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of security experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a financial services location.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and assist with directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, emergency notifications, and coordination with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation for patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate observations to supervisors and client contacts.
