As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, docks, and facility areas, staying highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will control access, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, document observations, and communicate clearly with associates and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points, observing for unusual activity and potential policy violations.
- Monitor access points for employees, drivers, and visitors; verify identification and/or credentials; and direct personnel to proper check-in and staging areas per site requirements.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, note maintenance hazards and operational concerns, and report findings through the chain of command.
