Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic tech and media location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing observations with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, production-related areas, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support site operations by providing clear directions, assisting with employee and visitor inquiries, and following post orders for after-hours activity, deliveries, and other security-related needs.
