About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Unarmed Patrols in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
Document and report incidents, observations, and any maintenance or hazard conditions encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and management at the location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.
