As a Security Officer - Telecom Unarmed Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a leading technology environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. This position is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the location as part of your patrol duties, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location, documenting incidents according to company procedures.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, supporting a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs and concerns relevant to a technology-focused environment.
- Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to a tech and media location, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
