Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a tech-driven environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Remain visible throughout the location, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service as part of Allied Universal’s people-first, innovative team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
