As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and embody our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity while supporting a secure environment for all.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. This is primarily a driving post.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and others while on patrol.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related incidents.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
