Job Description As a Security Officer - Telecom Facility Patrols in Whitsett, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and use your communication skills to support a positive experience for everyone onsite. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with onsite personnel and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related matters and emergencies.
