As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and screen employees, visitors, and/or contractors entering the location, verifying identification and access credentials according to site-specific procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct bag checks, inspections, and/or use of screening equipment as required by site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions and directing them appropriately within the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or policy violations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to carry out security-related procedures and maintain a visible presence at assigned posts.
