Job Description As a Security Officer - Telecom Entry Control in West Chester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, assist with badge access, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform access control duties at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while upholding Allied Universal’s standards for customer service.
Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related incidents.
