Job Description As a Security Officer - Telecom Entry Control Driver in Anderson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional, you will monitor and patrol tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and manage the flow of people within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any unusual activity.
  • Utilize access control systems and technology to verify credentials and maintain records of entries and exits.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors to provide information and guidance regarding access procedures.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies.
  • Collaborate with location management and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
